I spent most of my time romanticizing in and out of the French Quarters and surrounding nearby areas of New Orleans. In a city where their bread n’ butter comes from an image as unauthentic as the beads themselves so much lays beneath the surface if you travel smart. Being the quintessential home of the cocktail, New Orleans has drinking down to a lifestyle, a business and an art, not to mention you can walk with your drink in hand as you peruse town. Feeling thirsty? Not a problem, let’s walk and drink, cause my friend we have lots of street musicians to tip and live music to wander to. One thing I gather quickly, there is no formula for a trip to New Orleans, and that my Smart is Sexy loves is one reason New Orleans will have me coming back for more!

Happy January my Smart is Sexy loves,

New month, new book! We know how it goes and if I haven’t convinced you completely yet to join me and Smart is Sexy yourself this year, I’ve got two reasons why you should – right here:  One and two. For those of you who have tapped into the power reading a book a month can have, tell me… how does your mind feel when it’s done? How does your body feel when you’ve flipped that last page, experienced those words, imagined the moments, learned something new….accomplished? Inspired? Intrigued? Creative? Eloquent and just a bit more romanticized….? Uhhh yeeaaaaaaaa! You gotta read them books!

Happy Holidays My Smart is Sexy Loves!

Oh man! What a busy month December always is but since we made our pledge, that fabulous pledge to keep our neurons firing in tip-top shape, information circulating and our creative minds brewing every month. To be honest, I barely finished this month, phhhewwwf! I’m gunna blame it on the fact that I did more gluttonous activities than reading…this isn’t probably something I should admit, ooops!
