After shooting in Palms Springs for some exciting fashion shoots, we were able to sneak away and snap some pictures of my crazy Bali pants I walked in set wearing. The pants are unlike anything you would find in the US and so fun to wear, they remind me of my experience in Bali and how I need to continue discovering new things. I will link the post here, after I publish it. Then we caught up with Desert Daily Guide, one of Palms Springs unique online and print magazine to highlight where I stayed, ate, played and explored on my quick trip. I believe it is smart to take a moment to unwind from time to time or else you run the risk of getting burned out. And that’s not sexy. I don’t care how super human you are because everyone feels a bit burned out when you work hard and don’t give yourself a break.
As an Angeleno, Palms Springs is our desert jewel just 119 miles away, about a 2 to 3 hour drive away (depending on traffic) making it the perfect place for a quick getaway to relax and restore! Let’s go to Palm Springs my Smart is Sexy Lovers!
Stay: The Moroccan-inspired Colony Palms Hotel, stayed in a private casitas with a beautiful woven Suzani headboard and an outdoor bathtub, heaven! Bubble bath under the stars was amazing!
Eat: At the Workshop, gorgeous modern farm-to-table dinning with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, cast concrete tables and pendant lighting, gorgeous architecture! Plus it is walking distance from the hotel!
Play: Surrounded by lemon and palm trees, I stayed poolside at the Colony Palms Hotel with views of the San Jacinto Mountains, and had lunch at the flagship Purple Palm Restaurant which serves gourmet Mediterranean cuisine.

Explore: Later when the day cooled down a bit, we ventured out into town for a walk and saw the biggest version of Marilyn Monroe I have ever seen!
Summer doesn’t need to end just yet.
Explore Palms Springs.
Smart is Sexy.
