Finding our spot in this maddening world, who will love us, who will care about us the way we care for them…the sense of the world being so vast, and you– lost in it. Then you bring it all down into a very tiny world in 2.5 seconds, wait, “what am I having for lunch today?” Hmmm Hamburger, Oooo I like burgers but I better have a salad today…

In the big picture some moments are fleeting and some feel life changing…an F on your test, a break-up, someone close to you passes away, but some experiences stay with us forever. They shape us,if the memory is a strong one, you’ll probably find that something is left behind when the words go.

So we go through…searching…collecting…finding moments, memories even objects looking to define us. Does it work?

Everybody’s looking for something…what if we stopped looking, and created something instead.

This moving away from comfort and security, this stepping out into what is unknown, uncharted, and shaky– that’s called owning some balls. You can’t buy these, you only find that you own them once you’ve decided you’re done looking.

Sometimes you can’t find it, because it’s got to be created first.
