Hello My Smart is Sexy Loves,
I’ve missed you! I’ve been so busy moving recently but I haven’t forgotten about you! I finally got a chance to ride the metro that the city of Los Angeles worked so hard to build and I have to say I definitely liked it! It’s funny though, as an Angeleno our public transportation has always been like looking for your soulmate in vegas and our traffic like that friend that just doesn’t get the hint, that we approach something like the metro in a relatively excited way (whaaaaaat I don’t have to drive?!). My friends and I took the metro to downtown for dinner where it can be a pain to park so it made the ride so carefree! On the ride over the topic in conversation became about our generation, the millennials — our desire to see more, do more, and become more I believe has defined our generation. But where does that put us? Are we super selfies or super accomplishers or superheroes in our own ways….perhaps all, perhaps none. Damn. One thing is true, success drives every human being to keep going. Beg to differ, comment below– I would love to hear your thoughts!

There is something quite mesmerizing about the desert. My recent trip to Tucson, Arizona had me in awe of it’s dangerous beauty and inhabitants– enough to perplex and get the most cautious person elevating their finger above a teddy bear cactus or running it along a turquoise stone or wishing to see a javelina…that last part might only be me.

So it’s the beginning of the week, let’s start off right…with a good hair day!
When I take the time to take care of my hair, I always feel put-together, as if i’m presenting the best version of myself. Something so simple gives me a sense of empowerment. When I know I look my best, I know I am projecting confidence and poise. Hair is universal, it is by no means just a lady thing, women might don more hair but it is still the most noticeable accessory on a man as well, why not make it a power tool. Win-win if you ask me, healthy hair and a confident swag…..game on! The only issue is, I don’t know how to do hair the way I like it but there is a solution for that…

Today, is one of those days, for whatever reason that gets me thinking about the simpler things in life. I recently wrote about how to let things go and how they can affect you less if you consider every moment just a passing memory. Because ultimately that is just what they are. How they affect you is something else, and that is what we try and deal with every day.
