What do you know about the Black Hole? Is it possible to just fall off the edge of the world? Does this mean we are not the only humans in the universe?

Steven Hawking has sold more books on physics than Madonna has on sex with this book, and why is that? Join us this month as Smart is Sexy readers dive into the book of the month suggested by one of our very own readers!

This Month we are reading: A Brief History Of Time by Stephen Hawking

The success of this book indicates an interest in asking questions about where did we come from, and why the universe is the way it is.

Steven Hawking has made science to be a discovery, easy enough to understand and interesting enough to share. I hadn’t remembered the universe to be as fascinating as it is, until I picked this book up. It is important that science is more accessible and not perceived as a specialists field. You don’t have to study science or be good at science but what you should be is perpetually curious. Don’t you think?

Imagine if we all took part in the discussion of why it is that we and the universe exist? You had a voice in a currently unanswered question. Perhaps then when our minds come together and we elaborate on our curiosity we can tap into the answer, or more than one answer discover something new…something you didn’t even know you held the answer to! So why does the universe bother even existing? Let’s find out…together…

“However. within a few years we should know whether we can believe that we live in a universe that is completely self contained and without beginning or end.”
