About two weeks ago Smart is Sexy worked on a new project collaborating with a wonderful photographer –  Shaun Honda.

Shaun Honda is a lifestyle photographer with a beautiful method to capture the natural movement and expression through his lens. It’s raw, it’s fresh and non inhibiting. He’s flawless in professionalism and conduct. It was so much fun working with Shaun, I think I freaked him out more times than once, sorry Shaun! haha but I adored working with him, if you get the opportunity that he approaches you to collaborate, I would suggest you say YES or YES or YES!

Hello Santa Barbara

Note to Self: Small Indulgences are Worth It!

At the end of my three-day Santa Barbara getaway, my love and I made our way to the pier to soak in one last sunset. I don’t know when this started but growing up all I can remember are long summers at the beach or vacation beach trips filled with me eating ice cream. Yes, just me eating ice cream, no one else. Eventually a trip to the beach became synonymous with eating ice cream. Luckily for me and my bikini body– ice cream isn’t always readily available….a painful blessing in disguise.

Well…it’s not so much of a heartbreak but of a crossroads where we have or will reach in life when we must own up to our decisions. It’s something close and personal and just ours. It is a situation in which you must trust your instinct. Intuition doesn’t lie.
